Timothy Evans, J.D., LL.M.

Co-Founder and Vice President of Strategy at Aldumin

Colonel Evans (Ret) commanded the 175th Network Warfare Squadron at the National Security Agency for six years. He currently serves on the George Washington University Active Defense Task Force. Most recently he served as a Senior Advisor at Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory. While Commander, he served as the Director of Operational Policy, Tailored Access Operations (TAO) (2008 to 2012) and Senior Adviser, NSA Threat Operations Centers (NTOC) (2006-2008). Additionally, he represented NSA cyber organizations as a member of the White House National Security

Staff Sub-Interagency Policy Committee on both offensive and defense cyber security issues.

 

Prior to that, then Major Evans spent fourteen years on active duty in the U.S. Marine Corps. As a Marine Corps Captain, he spent two years as the Commanding Officer, Headquarters and Service (H&S) Company, H&S Battalion, at Camp Pendleton, California during Operation Desert Storm/Desert Shield.

 

He attended the University of Washington School of Law in Seattle for his Master of Laws (LL.M.) with a focus on International Law. Tim is married, has a nine-year-old son and lives in Arlington, Virginia. He has completed ten (10) Marine Corps Marathons.
